Bei Jing Trips

It's my first experienced using China train (ying zuo T18, 179rmb), we went from yan'an xi lu ditiezhan on 5.30pm to Shanghai Railway station. hmmmm...buat saran ni,kalo pergi sendirian, ga recommended si :p tp kalo mo ngejar murahnya,boleh lah,asal tahan ama bisingnya org2 China yg gemar berbicara dgn volume suara stereo dan tiada hentinya,plus tahan ama joroknya fasilitas umum yg ada dlm kereta, yg ini bener2 perlu tahan mental.

Bisa dibilang ,kita ga bakal bisa tidur selama 15 jam. tapi begitu menginjak Beijing Railway station, cape jadi ga berasa :D
tapi ternyata perjuangan belum berakhir, kita harus mencari hostel yg sdh kita booking lewat internet sebelumnya, kita memilih QIANMEN HOSTEL, it's recommended, just looked at http://www.hostelworld.com/ to find the cheapest hostel. We took dorm type. 1 bedroom for 4 persons, and 50rmb/person.

After put our stuffs, we started our journey then...it's my 1st day in Beijing. 'coz our hostel is near Tian'an men, so we can reach it by walking around 15minutes. It's really big, for suggestion, please wearing a comfort shoes,because we'll explore the whole palace about 1 hectare (i thought :p). anyway, you have to pay enterence ticket for 65rmb,but if you have a student card,you can get 50% discount. Yup, it also applied in every tourism places in Beijing, so don't forget to show your student card ;)

oh ya, I thought the best place to enjoy Tian'an men view is from the park behind Tian'an men,just paid for 2 rmb. It's so lovely! Jiangshen park...

From here,you can see Beijing's view. It's my favorite park.  hmmm, Back to hostel, you can use bus to Qianmen, no.1 or 2, but it really need patient in waiting them ,fiuuuu :'I

It's my second day, Lots of planning^^
Summer Palace!
Lucky us, we have zhongguo pengyou,he's really kind. He helped us to take a tour only by bus and ditie (subway), so cheapppp^^
Btw, better buying a ditie card before, will be convenience. (20 rmb for card only, and 20 rmb for the content, anyway you can change your card after you want to leave Beijing).
You can ride a dragon boat in here or cyclying boat, like we did! 10 kuai/ persons for around 50minutes.

Don't forget to reach WOFOSI, BOTANICAL GARDEN (5rmb), and there's a temple of sleeping Buddha inside the garden (5rmb). Save your power to get XIANGSHAN PARK (5rmb), just walking around 15 minutes from Botanical garden, and when you found a food stand of Jian bing, don't forget to try it. I can say that the taste is diffrent with Beijing's Jian bing, it's more crispy.

Heaven Temple,

 

I forgot to write the bus no, from our hostel,but it's easy, because you can find in your hotel/hostel's information board.

Because we thought we still have times,so we decided to visit Baihai temple, it's near Tian'an men/Jiangshen park.
I think it's like miniature of summer palace.

It's our last trips, I mean me and my Shanghai's friends. We save the best for last, Great Wall^^
But, it's really far from downtown, around 2hours...fiuuuuu....the bus only 12kuai, but the enterance ticket of Greatwall is quite expensive, for student price is 80 kuai, and common price is 100 kuai.
We went to Badaling, one of Greatwall gate. We used the train to reach the top, then we walked around the battle. It's really exhausting, because of the sun and crowd. But ,like everybody said, if you go to Beijing,and didn't visit Greatwall,it's not complete^^
